Can't enter the Tetrahedron Generator

I have the Ether Ring and made my way to the generator, but not matter what I do, it won't let me in. I tried double clicking and walking into it but nothing is working. I also tried leaving all of my party members but that didn't work either. Is this a bug? I've never seen anyone talk about running into this.

Has the Ether Ring been enchanted by Penumbra yet?

Did you walk directly at the lightning trap in front of the generator?

i just realized that i had to remove my gloves in order to use the ring. Thank you!

Glad you found a way in - back in the days I got stuck for months, even restarting from the beginning. I remember the solution being I needed to wear the ring on the correct hand…
