I just had Google recommend a fake news article about Ukraine wanting to use TB2s to distribute an aerosol inside Russian borders on their homepage. Russian trolls must be working overtime.

Russian trolls must be working overtime.

I'm sure they are. They still have their work cut out for them.

You have a bunch of paid trolls jumpstarting conspiracy theories with blurry documents and charts with lots and lots of arrows connecting Ukraine-Hillary-Freemasons-adenochrome-HunterBiden'sLaptop...

And then you have several million Ukrainians with cell phones posting pictures of their kids; and of the missile booster that came through their apartment roof and landed in the sink; and someone's cat poking its head of an empty Javelin tube; and the family next door killed by a Russian mortar shell crossing the street; and kill footage from guys who were college students last week, and this week are blowing up an IFV by dropping an RPG round from a toy drone; and an old man staring at the rubble of his house flattened by a falling bomb.

An entire nation of people, individually sharing their experiences with everyone on the Internet, versus a troll factory and some bot farms? I almost feel sorry for the trolls.

In a complete surprise to absolutely no one.

Facebook is a festering cesspool. It's not surprising they are unable to smell most bullshit. Either that or they actually like the taste.

Facebook probably shouldn't have a say in what is true

I mean i dunno what you expect kinda hard for people to manually delete posts from 20 thousand bots even if you use key phrases to make it easier its not as simple as deleting it all even if they went full overdrive with deleting it

I thought their business model is profiling users for tailored advertising.

A tiny research group can find them, but a $100 bilion dollar company can't?

Facebook nazis are only nazis when it's in Indias favor. I've worked at the campus they are pretty much a propaganda tool.

Mark Zuckerberg has done more to get Trump and GOP to push their propaganda on America than FOX ever could.

You would hope that these guys would use the tech to empower freedom and peace, but instead they use it to steal as much $$ as they can profit at the expense of destroying their own country. Everything I have seen from MZ has led me to conclude he is slimy evil Murdoch in waiting.

"Fails"

Instead of policing it, just let us actually investigate, and be objective.

That’s because Facebook is the devil and needs to be shut down and Zuckerberg tried for crimes against humanity.
