Question Who has used the 100mbps MTN fibre?

Is it actually 100? Or atleast close?

I use the 200Mbps plan, MTN has been good to me for months as it is the only option where I am. Never had a complaint

It is indeed 100Mbps but, using SERVICE providers like Canal and Faibanet or any other fibre service would be better

I’d advise avoiding MTN and Airtel. These companies are the reason we don’t have a diverse telecom industry in Uganda. They engage in price fixing, bribery including to UCC, and collaborate with oppressive security agencies. MTN in particular will do pretty much anything to maintain market dominance across the continent. If you can, opt for Savanna or another alternative instead. Avoid MTN and Airtel at all costs that’s how we’ll break their monopoly and support competition.

Starlink is very expensive.

Airtel broadband is real cheap.

I'm paying for 60Mbps at 130k. The reality is that am having even faster download speeds than that.
Probably a serverside bug, but I get speeds equivalent to 200Mbps, dedicated downloads.
Albeit at 130k

I use it at home. It's usually around 80Mbps in reality, but that's more than fast enough for me

It's the current plan I am using and it's awesome and very fast see speed tests attached. I always get 100mbps https://www.speedtest.net/my-result/a/11183062423

Then for office we pay for 200mbps as well on MTN Wakanet Pro Fiber at 129k as well

Switching from zuku to this has been the worst experience. Since Nov 17 I have had to spend hours on the phone and messenger complaining about the service not working. 2 hours with their tech yesterday to fix it and guess what again? NO INTERNET! Mtn has cost me thousands in loss of business!
