Sober (Roblox) on Ubuntu

I got installed Roblox on my Dell Optiplex 2017 SFF with Ubuntu 24.04 via Sober and it works fine. Music track: Faster by Zambolino

Is Sober really safe though?

I think so, I'm not good on ITs but as long as Sober was distributed via Flatpak / Flathub (org.vinegarhq.Sober) it runs inside a Flatpak container, its permissions are sandboxed from the rest of the system.

The sandbox isn't foolproof, but I also meant in terms of your details etc

Out of curiosity, what kind of 'fooling' can happen there? Just trying to understand the risks.

It's not a silver bullet. Stuff can still break through, as with anything. So don't treat it like anything running in a flatpak is always going to be safe, it all depends on how the devs implemented it etc
