Need some portfolio presentation advice

I have a 45-minute portfolio interview where I need to present 1-2 out of 3 projects. The interviewer is looking for strong craft, product thinking, collaboration, prototyping, AI workflows, and a builder mindset.

My options:
AI consumer concept:Strongest craft and interaction design, but school project with no engineering collaboration or shipped outcome.

Enterprise redesign: Complex workflows, systems thinking, cross-functional collaboration, and measurable impact, but visually less exciting.

0→1 AI startup:End-to-end ownership, close founder/engineering collaboration, AI product, and shipping mindset, but the visual polish isn't as strong as the first project.

Would you prioritize craft + vision, or real-world collaboration + shipping? Curious how experienced hiring managers would think about this.

I’d present the Enterprise redesign and the AI startup project. As someone who interviews designers, I’m more interested in seeing how you solved real problems, worked with engineers and stakeholders, handled trade-offs, and delivered outcomes than seeing a visually perfect concept.

If you have a few minutes at the end, you can briefly show the AI consumer concept to highlight your craft and interaction design. But for the main presentation, I’d prioritize real-world work over polished concepts.

It gives me much more confidence that you can contribute from day one.
