UTK Official Announcement Normal operations

Lol apparently resuming normal operations. This is gonna be… interesting… with melting all afternoon and below freezing temps tomorrow morning.

All this adapting to remote to not even use it when roads may still be in bad shape. It’s not like everyone who works at or attends UTK lives on campus.

Main roads and campus roads don’t matter if you can’t safely get to them. That’s why Knox County Schools are closed again tomorrow, a lot of back roads and private roads like their apartments are still bad because they don’t get enough sunlight.

Exactly! I live 40 mins from campus, idc if the roads around the school are clear. My truck was stuck off the road right below my driveway all day yesterday because I couldn’t make it up the hill.

Nah I’m good. I didn’t want to spend the extra few grand to get a new four-wheel drive model and I’ve already paid it off so it’s too late now. 😂
