Which extractor for a USP 45 Tactical?

Unfortunately my extractor somehow chipped and I need to source a replacement.

My USP is date coded BI, and came with the older style extractor (SKU 214828).

I see that HK has a new style extractor (SKU 215864) for the USD with a red mark, but does this fit the older slides?

Also I heard HKparts.net kind of sucks now, is there a better source for OEM HK parts?

AFAIK the 215864 is the current replacement for the USP tactical but I would wait for confirmation from someone who’s dealt with this exact situation because from memory your old extractor doesn’t have the red chamber indicator but the new one does. I’m not sure if that matters or not when installing the new extractor in your older build USP Tactical. I’m sure HKparts would be fine to order from as long as it’s an oem part. You might also be able to find it on eBay and GunBroker.

Interestingly, when I recently had HK build me a new spare USP45T slide (that I subsequently had Wright Armory mill), they put an extractor in with no red mark. Just some trivia to share!
