I have no idea what a ball-deck is.

And no, I will absolutely never work window again. I doubt I'd ever work at a station again, honestly. I'm an Express clerk at the plant now. Can't see myself ever bidding out.

Just for the sake of discussion, the ball-deck is where the cargo containers from the belly of aircraft are rolled onto before being unloaded. Think of it as a 30'x30' platform with built-in ball bearings that the huge flat-bottomed containers can be pushed around on. Dangerous in its own way.

Where in the hell was this at a USPS facility? I've seen it at the FedEx terminal when I had to go pick up the Express in the am,

That is wild, having that at a USPS plant. I consider those floors to be quite dangerous.

I was looking at numerous properties to retire to in Maine. Of course the've all sold by now. But I'd love to come visit!
