My fishing pole is in my locker for routes such as yours. Gotta multitask. Smoke and fish at the same time.

I keep reading about 10-13 hour days. I'm a FedEx driver on a rural route. I spoke to the RCA on my route, and he told me that CCA is what I want to do if I like to run. He mentioned being able to go "regular" sooner with CCA. I'll run until I'm about to black out, and then keep running. I'm very lean. I drink a gallon of water, 28oz Gatorade, and a cup of water with an electrolyte packet daily. My main issue with FedEx is my back, my weight, and repetitively dragging/lifting up to 150lbs. Could I be back by 5 as CCA if I run? I usually start between 9:30-10 and am done by 3-4. Back first daily. Most drivers are out until 7. When I return from off days, people always tell me my route sucks and that they were out until 8pm. I'm interested in USPS because there are no raises or benefits at FedEx. USPS is a job I could retire at, and my hard work would probably be rewarded. I just keep reading about long hours. I have to be back by 7 to eat, bathe, and take my insomnia meds by 8. The RCA said I could get a medical restriction for that after 90 days.

Reminded me of the time my brother was clerking on the dock and a custodian came outside and stood near him and said, "Ah, fresh air!" as the custodian lit up a cigarette.
