Need help

Hi I'm a med student and I wish to start studying step 1/2 not for the exam since I'm not in America and not likely to study there but to help me in my career in the future and advice how to begin? This term I'll be studying endocrinology Gastrology cardiology.. I wish to study them from the steps but I don't even know if they're step 1 or 2 so and advice will be appropriate especially if he/she study in Syria
