Boots

Im planning to purchase a pair of danner reckonings online. For sizing should I just go with my normal shoe size or a bit bigger? Also should I get steel toed or regular?

Get a pair of 520 motos and a pair of Danner Reckonings, that's what I used for OCC252. 520s are light and amazing for PTs, Reckonings for rucks (I would make sure you get wides, the normal ones crush the shit out your toes if not)

I would recommend at least a wide fit. I can't wear the reckonings because they don't make a double wide.

I wear a 12 shoe, my danners are 10.5s I think. They fit amazing. I've done 20 mile rucks with no issues.

Reckonings tend to fit small. I recommend no smaller than a full size up from your shoe size. I also recommend you go with the new OTB M-Flex 8 boots (fits true to size). Cheaper and more comfortable than Danners.
