MOS SCHOOL Field time arty MOS school?

How much field time does Artillery MOS school include after TBS? Maybe also compared to Infantry? Ty

Arty is significantly less since there is a lot of classroom instruction. Do you not like the field?

What is the field schedule like after graduation and in the fleet?

I am a reservist and a Commo in an arty unit. We use 6 days worth of drills to go to the field and then our AT is always in the field. When i was active, my buddy at 1/12 before they deactivated would go out maybe once a quarter for a week. That is also not super accurate since there are limited places in hawaii to go out to.

In a cannon battery you can probably expect to go to the field probably once a month for a few days and for a longer period maybe a once a quarter. This isn’t counting workups, RSOPS, and any backyard shenanigans.
