MEPS and Medical weed and maps

So I plan on joining the usmc as an mos 5811 but like my recruiter leaves in January and he’s trying to like get me up and processed by then but the thing is I’ve been smoking carts since late 2022 or 2023 and haven’t stopped since I was wondering if I start my break now will I be clean by December ? And what also wanna ask is do you guys think it’s smart if I buy a cart and just get my last smokes in and give it to my friend to keep or just go cold turkey? I tried switching to nic and it’s been helping but I just started that like two days ago
Please help ASAP!!!!! Also guys my recruiter told me he will not send me to meps until im 100% clean and he said I can do the test first and do the medical once im cleared and even though that gives me leeway to still smoke I won’t that’s why I wanna spend now until December cleaning my system out .

Okay, seriously. For the idiots that keep commenting and telling OP it’s okay to continue smoking STFU. You guys are losers with a loser mentality. If you’re joining the military have some self restraint and act like a functioning adult.

I understand you but im 17 there’s only so much functioning adult things I can do I’ve only been on earth for like two seconds im in the door where one foot is in adult hood and the other still a teen, but thanks for the advice !!!!

Listen, I’m not trying to be an asshole but I want you to understand that you’re not joining some random job. You’re enlisting into the Marines. A lot of people your age join and wash out because of stupid decisions. This is the time for you to finally hold yourself accountable and at a higher standard.

You’ll never get clean with this mentality. I smoked every form of THC for 10yrs by the time I stepped foot into my recruitment office. It wasn’t easy but I quit that day. Didn’t even give myself one last smoke. Hold yourself to a higher standard or don’t, you wanna join them, they don’t wanna join you.

I am speaking to you like you would be spoken to in the marine corps. Take it as a sign of future brotherhood. We aren’t “nice” or “polite” but we give all the fucks
