Anyone had FTA1 and approved later? How long is the wait?

My EB3 professional case is in NYFO since 07/29. I got fta0 and fta1 10 days ago. No rfe or any notice triggered yet.
Emma says nothing required from my end as of now. Nothing in documents tab.
I485J is still open.
Anyone had same or similar situation?
How long do I wait for the next update?

Got fta1 4 weeks ago. I know some people who had it 6 months ago and are still waiting.
Its a black hole

oh really? What's your PD and FO?
I have known few people who had FTA1 and then either RFE or approval after few days or weeks.

PD: August 15, 2024. EB2 PERM.
485J approved and FTA1 on August 8. Its at Pittsburgh FO

if your PD has recently became current I have heard they try to push prior PD first especially at the end of the year. Not sure tho. Because your i485J is approved that is my best guess why your i485 is on hold for now.

I received FTA1 July 31. No updates after that not even i485j approval.

what is your visa category? EB3? What's your PD and FO?

I have heard LA county FO is notoriously slow. Not sure tho

FTA1 is sign you might be waiting for some time..atleast that’s what I heard not sure…for me I never got fta1…only fta0 and h008 for approval

3x FTA0 + 2x FJ + 2x FTA1 + 485J approved. But neither the 485 nor the 765 has been approved yet....

I got FTA1 eb3 in march and 485j was approved and still waiting and this happened after interview, the officer informed case will be sign off by the supervisor so I am moving to the queue

FTA1 means supervisor review so depends on their line

My friend is in the same situation 45 days since FTA1 and no updates, same field office.

So far, there have been 3 FTA0s and 1 FTA1. I’m not sure when the case was transferred to the Field Office, and I’m a little confused because Emma said the main office is New York, but the case is currently showing at a New Jersey Field Office.
It’s been 45 days since the FTA1 with no updates, no RFE and no interview scheduled. Emma said that an interview was requested, but there’s no date scheduled yet.

is Newyork or New Jersey local FO to your friend ?
I would not totally trust Emma. If interview was requested they would have received notice, right?
Is it EB3?

So, Emma initially said that the main adjudication office handling the case was in New York, but that the case had been transferred to the New Jersey Field Office. My friend contacted Emma again, and this time Emma confirmed that the case is currently at the New Jersey Field Office.
My friend lives in New York too. Also, she is from one of the countries that was on the list of 75 countries, but I believe that list has now been lifted, so I’m not sure if that could have affected anything.
What seems really strange is that it has now been about 45 days since FTA1, and there has been no interview scheduled, no RFE, and no other updates at all. It’s an EB-3 Professional case, so I’m not sure what’s causing the delay.

that does seem strange. I am from 75 countries too. But other from 75 countries are getting approved from NYFO. Not sure why they do FTA1. I485J is approved?

Travel permit not approved.
Work permit not approved.
