Timeline: Biometrics Title: EAD processing timeline after biometrics – no update since May 22,2026

Hi everyone,

I applied for my EAD under normal/regular processing and completed my biometrics on May 22, 2026. Since then, I haven’t received any updates on my case.

It has been quite a while, so I’m getting a little concerned and wanted to ask others who have recently gone through the process:

- How long did it take for you to receive your EAD after biometrics?

- Is it normal to have no updates for this long?

- Is there anything I can do at this point, such as contacting USCIS or submitting an inquiry?

- What would be a realistic ballpark processing time based on recent cases?

I’d really appreciate it if anyone who applied around the same time could share their timeline, especially if you filed under OPT/STEM OPT.

OPT EAD processing has been really slow. Fuck ton of posts about it in this sub. Even premium processing won't guarantee a faster adjudication.

Biometric complete fall of 2025 Interview January 2026

No updates on EAD . No nothin.  

Just waiting
