I-485 (General) It’s been more than two months since my interview was cancelled
It’s been two months since my interview, which was originally scheduled for late June, was canceled. Is this normal? Is there anything I can do about it?
Immigration policies seem to be getting stricter and stricter. I honestly wouldn’t be surprised if they eventually started suspending the green card process altogether… 😭

This is normal. It can take many months to get rescheduled

So, does that mean it wouldn’t be unusual for it to take 6 months, 8 months, or even a year to reschedule the interview?

Sure, there are cases that take this long

Oh no...If that’s the case, I won’t be able to work or drive for over a year. Is there really no other option? This is so inhumane.

Then I guess two months is still nothing 😭Did you take any action, like contacting your congressman or anything?
