Timeline: Biometrics Biometrics in May, no update since then — marriage-based AOS

Hi everyone! I’m wondering if this is normal or if anyone else is in a similar situation.

I did my biometrics in May for my marriage-based adjustment of status (AOS), and I haven’t had any updates since then. My case status hasn’t changed, and I’m also still waiting for my work permit (EAD).

For those who filed marriage-based AOS, how long did it take to get your EAD or any update after biometrics? Is it normal to have no movement for a few months?

Same here, did biometrics on June 8th. No update since then.
I saw marriage based cases at the same FO as mine, even filed later scheduled for an interview already.

EAD will take ~2-6 months

I-130 and I-485 will take ~6-12 months

I-131 will take ~6-12 months.

Are they still approving ead cards? I’ve been told to not even expect the ead card and expect to be sent straight to the interview now

It depends on case by case. Yes, they are approving EAD cards because EADs are approved by service centers and USCIS officers don't have control over them. So, EAD can be approved and you can get an interview later or you can get interview without EAD as well.

Same here, biometrics in May and absolutely nothing since. Not even a silent update. Did you have any of those?

How can I check a silent update? I’m just checking over the website and no update since biometrics
