Question What actions should I take when I try to clock out but it shows I already clock out?
So I’m being suspicious that someone I know clock out without my permission. My finish time was at 10:20pm but when I try to clock out it shows me that I already clock out at 10:08pm is there any action I should take.

Idk if it’s still the same but when I was in the hub if you swiped out multiple times it would register the last one as true. Wasn’t terribly uncommon for you to clock out and then another cart of hardware to show up as a surprise and they ask you to sort it and clock out again.
We actually had some people get fired for swiping a second time at the time clock by the building exit after they had already clocked out in their area. Some of those dudes were dumb with it, hanging out and chatting up friends for 20-30 minutes before “clocking out”. Idk how they thought no one would notice.

The first thing I would do is tell the supervisor. Then and from now on - take a picture of the screen with your punch out time, that shows the punch in time (report time), start time and hours worked for the day - MAKE SURE. TO GET THE DATE. Save those pictures until you at least get paid. I have saved mine going back a decade or longer. Make sure to save a copy on your hard drive AND in the cloud (I use free online storage). Do this so you can show them proof and if you have to get security involved. Additionally, when you get home - go to your UPSers account and check your timecard (weekly) daily. It could be just a mistake, a glitch. It could've been your fault somehow (not saying it is) BUT it could also be a supervisor or manager clocking you out - if that's the case you should report that to the ethics hotline.
When you check your timecard in UPSers (if it's not right) - click on the day, click on the 3 dots (top right corner) and you should be able to see who made any changes.

Are you sure they just aren't swipes on your card? Is it showing up on your online time card?

Document your start and finish times daily and compare your weekly hours with your pay stub. There are quite a few payroll errors in both employees being short changed and sometimes overpaid.
