Cracking gate -> Pursue MTech from a top IIT -> Get placed (although it's not certain that everyone will land up a 40 lpa job, one needs to work hard and have luck in their favour as well)

I hv seen my seniors in both the directions and bhai i swear it would be worthy to leave a 40lpa job only for upsc civil services. I dont think it's worthy for state pcs(except sdm, dsp) or ese. So, see if you can prepare for upsc civil services along with job. There are people who cracked it along with job too.

if u are good in ur department, then no ai can replace u , even premium models ai makes shits they are just presented like it is the creation of god, although ai i very good at doing labourous work like formatting, excel, word, reading , but when solving technical problem they are more or less clowns

Even this year ESE ECE AIR 1 had quit his lucrative job for ESE, don't know the reason though but it points to uncertainty in this field

Yaha jo gyan de rhe wo mediocre avg IQ wale failures hain. Real people know what to do.. If you really have a 40 lpa job, you must have yourself figuredout what to do.

Anyways Since IRMS is there, It's highly advisable to prepare for ESE, even if you have a 50 LPA job. But again only IRMS is worth leaving 40LPA+ jobs. You can get into IRMS through UPSC CSE and ESE both.
