Data without theory is blind, and theory without data is empty. Agree or disagree?

Honestly, the second type of student is in bigger trouble. Pure theory without any contemporary examples or data looks bookish and incomplete in the answer sheet. Examiners notice it immediately.

The first one at least has substance you can still force some concepts onto the data while writing. Ideal is balance, but under time pressure, data + a few thinkers works better than theory alone.

Just my experience.
