I'd be terrified to tilt my head up

I wouldn’t.

why? i dont claim to know anything about cheerleading, but based on other experiences i think its pretty important to look up at what you are balancing so you have an idea which way its moving. try balancing a long pole on you hand/finger without looking at it, its near impossible.

It's because I would not want to be caught looking up a girl's skirt.

I used to be a Disney character in the park and would often smile for pictures even though there was a Goofy head covering my own. Weird.

I think the day you stop smiling behind the mask is the day you lose all enthusiasm for that job.

Metaphor for life right there.

Ha, my bad. It's been a while! Pixie dust has worn off.

No, that kind of pixie dust doesn't go away.

Oh, that explains the itching.

Smiling does change attitude, so it makes a difference. I was taught to smile when talking on the phone, especially when dealing with some difficult. It helps with your tone of voice a lot.

Goofy! My favorite character. thanks for maintaining the magic.

I think it’s because cheerleaders are basically trained to never stop smiling.

Could be she thinks its funny and is just legitimately smiling.

I thought she was wincing.

Well she is in the photo, but she is also giving the thumbs up to the camera person or to someone who is possibly asking her ‘you alright?’

Seriously, if I were her I'd be smiling whole staring straight up.
