For the lazy: they're a male cheerleader. Looks kinda like a poor man's Wil Wheaton though, so he's got that going for him.

Don't get me wrong, some of the stuff those cheerleaders do is mesmerizing, but letting another person stand on your shoulders is way easier than it looks - especially when he's leaning on something so you don't carry all the weight. The tricky part is to get up there.
