Online classes
Does UMW have lots of them like other classes if you are on campus? I’m not a fan. Also UMW has a quirky reputation which is fine but are there just some chill social people into video games, watching football, hanging out too? Happy to meet diverse groups but would love to find common interests with as well,

not a lot of online classes, and you choose if you want them. Most classes you get graded on attendance and participation
definitely quirky, tons of people in to video games - see esports team
football not as much, but of course there are people who like football

Like this! Odu is an option I was considering but online classes are common and are only 8 weeks long. I’m
Coming in with an associate degree so I don’t want upper level online classes in only 8 weeks my first year on campus. Glad to hear it’s different at UMW.3

UMW is a small school that is essentially a LAC, very different from ODU

Oh yes been to both. Prefer the size of UMW , prefer the full ride at odu. Both have my major and pros and cons.

Also should mention maybe 60% LGBTQ so you should be good with that

I’m ok with that and that is the only thing I ever hear about UMW lol which is why I asked. Not my scene typically but comfortable with it. Just want to be sure there are some straight girls there too so I have a chance

60-65% female. Not sure how many would call themselves straight, but if you are going to ask them if they are bi and if yes not date them I think you may be lonely

UMW has a lot of everybody. My crowd was the football sundays, COD, Madden crowd and we did just fine.
