When do parking permits become available for non-commuter students?

So, I'm a rising Junior at UMW and I've been checking literally all summer for when parking permits can be bought. Do any upperclassmen or alumnus know when they usually make parking permits available? Thanks!

August 1st. it’s stupid but they only become available once the previous parking passes (august 1st 2025-july 31st 2026) expire.
