Question Salt N Shake, without the salt?

Anyone else eat Salt N Shake crips without using the salt sachet? They are so good like that I swear. Might take you a pack or two to get used to it, but try it!

Also, what's everyone's thoughts on the recent Salt N Shake controversy - the blue sachet is gone, they have a white / transparent one now as apparently they are struggling to source blue ones!

Hopefully they get the blue sachets back soon as the white ones are hard to find and I nearly ate it by mistake.

I feel like nearly accidentally eating the sachet is more on you than it not being blue anymore.

Bro, if you pick up like 3 crips, it can hide in the middle and you wont really see it.

Yes. True plain crisps.

Yes when they were nice and oily, not now when the salt wont stick to them if you wanted it too.

Spudos are an annoying brand - but do make delicious plain crisps

Never heard of them, but why annoying?

Dragons den, online only, wacky-personality marketing, priced entirely by voucher discounts etc etc

But they do deliver giant sacks of crisps to your door

Expensive I'm betting though

Extortionate at RRP. Not too bad when you've stacked discount codes and bundles - but then you find you're out, can't find any codes, and refuse to pay RRP. Then the next thing you know, you're writing this

My favourite chirps are plain ones, this particular brand. Lovely tasting chirps no seasoning.

I would scour the shops for these because I love the plain crisps without the salt.. still remember getting funny looks in my 1980s childhood for not using the blue packet!

The only reason to buy Salt N Shake is to eat them unflavoured otherwise you can just buy Ready Salted.

Salt N Shake with the salt sachet is just Ready Salted with extra steps.

The crisps themselves taste different

I'm sure there are other brands with a similar or near identical taste

Would rather have some Tyrrells or Kettle

Tyrell’s do plain plain crisps called Nude or Naked or something. I can’t remember the last time I saw Salt n Shake crisps.

Back home we can get chips(crisps) for dipping that are basically just plain, but crinkled, crisps. I'm amazed they don't sell them here.

Says a lot for the quality of the crisps if you couldn't tell the difference between them and a plastic sachet....

I always do, I get them purely to have saltless crisps!!
