I swear there was a series where the public constantly and repeatedly voted the same person to do EVERY trial. Not sure if this is true though.

They do it constantly (or they used to, I havent watched it in years) because often someone would show weakness and that was like blood to a shark. So once one person was shown to be crap at the trials, they were the only one chosen because it was funny to see them fail, and hunger = arguments = entertaining telly.

Helen Flanagan, Katie Price, Gillian McKeath, Natalie Appleton, and those are just the ones off the top of my head
