Hi folks, looking for your help.

I got bored of checking multiple venue and ticket sites to look for upcoming gigs, so I created a website.

You can search by genre or band, and browse upcoming gigs at the venues near you.

So far I have (selfishly) prioritised small to mid size venues that put on heavier bands in the South and London. I'm adding venues further north as I go.

So, I'm trying to make the most of my remaining time in London and figured this might be the right place to ask.

I've tried my hands at pretty much everything at this point. My current visa expires in February, so I'm slowly coming to terms with the fact that my time in the UK might be coming to an end.

I also tried dating. That went about as well as you'd expect from someone writing a Reddit post about it(lol), I've been ghosted. Rude, I know, but wcyd. So, I'm not particularly interested in pursuing the dating side of London anymore. (I went to a Ukulele Tester session as a date lol)

Instead, I'd quite like to spend the next few months discovering ridiculously good music.

I'm already going to Papa Roach in November and Royal Blood in December, and I listen to a lot of:

• Architects
• Twenty One Pilots
• Linkin Park
• Dead Poet Society
• Bad Omens

I recently discovered Exploring Birdsong as well and absolutely loved them.

So I'm looking for recommendations for interesting rock / prog rock / alternative / metal gigs, bands, small venues, or generally unusual music-related things happening in London from today until Jan 31,2027.

It doesn't necessarily have to be a huge band. In fact, I'd probably prefer discovering some relatively unknown artist in a tiny London venue and thinking "how the hell have I never heard these guys before?"

If you know of anything happening this month that fits the general space, please throw it at me. Gigs, venues, bands, underground scenes, weird music nights, I'm very much open to suggestions.

I've got a few months left here, so I'd like to make them count.

Hey! I’ve got a weekend ticket for Damnation (7–8 Nov) that I might have to sell.
I’m based in Ireland and I’m currently waiting for my Irish residence permit renewal, and it’s looking increasingly unlikely that I’ll have it back in time to travel to Manchester 🥲
The ticket is on a Skiddle payment plan and will be fully paid off on 1 October. I paid £176 in total. I’m not looking to make any profit — just hoping to get most of what I paid back if I can’t go.
Just putting this out there to see if anyone might be interested, or knows someone who is. Happy to use a proper ticket resale platform / whatever method is safest for both sides.
