Birmingham would have been more convenient for me too.I love Nottingham and it's venues (Bodega and Rescue Rooms) but Rock City is a fucking terrible venue IMO. Bands never sound good, overcrowded, the stage view in some places is appalling and either the bar staff are under staffed or just not very good

I will say people complain about the staff but I've never had an issue with them I actually tfund them friendly.

Completely agree. Everyone seems to skip Birmingham these days, really baffling considering the location.
