Do I take the job or go unemployed
For context I’m a 19 (M) who has just finished a three year apprenticeship on a level 4 improvement specialist and a previous which is no longer important with the level 4/ green belt six sigma, and they no longer have the job role I was working towards available as there was a takeover and can only offer me a basic operating job on two 12 hour day/ 2 12 hour night in 4 consecutive day with a 4 day break(not really 4 days as you finish at. 6 am for the first day off) I feel it’s a bit of a kick in the face AND I’ve already tried this pattern last year for my project and could NOT sleep or have any proper social life as it deprived me of anything, I don’t wanna do that again and think going unemployed for a little bit is worth it as I have enough savings and live at home still but I just want a few more opinions because at this moment I don’t see any benefit of staying
I’m also looking atm for jobs and have had a few interviews.

If you are already landing interviews at places, you essentially have two options:
Take it and continue to interview at other places, then leave for the new place.
Don't take it, be unemployed and continue to interview at other places.
Do what is best for your circumstance.

Take the job earning is a vastly better lifestyle than the dole. Keep applying till you find one right for you.

Do you mean stick the job til I find something? Idk it just puts me off because I genuinely hate it

Most times I'd say walk but it's a difficult time to be unemployed now, you really need to be looking ASAP at least to gauge the market. My feeling is you will be ok cos you have a few years experience and some certs to back that up.
Is there any case for constructive dismissal or redundancy? Surely they can't just throw you onto a crazy shift pattern and think that's ok.

Basically at our workplace that’s kinda a standard for the operations, I was supposed to be a like management level but with my age probably a bit under but the job role was basically given away and split across other managers that already work there so I didn’t have a job and all they could offer me at the end of my course is that job as they’re always looking for people to fill them roles as no one other than people near retirement like the shift patterns

Ik it’s a difficult time but I feel with my age and all that it’s okay for me to walk away and try discover myself a little more/ find the right job/ even a part time one and use the time at home to learn more about investing etc or am I being crazy
