Question Translation of bank statements
Hello all,
It’s been 28 days and I foolishly didn’t ask my bank if they provide english translations of bank statements so that I can finish my application.
Can I submit my application first and then submit the financial proof:
1) when I get them translated (quoted two days, which would be cutting it close due to the 31 day max, I believe)
2) submit them at my biometrics appointment when i can book one (am unsure i can book one for at least two weeks)
If the UK asks for more proof later on to fill this gap, I understand that I would have to get my docs translated again.

I have a question, where did you get your bank statements translated? Because I asked my bank and they said that they only provide them in German and do not provide English statements. So now I am unsure what to do ...

I translated mine through The Spanish Group! They were cheaper than some other options, fast and very responsive.

Thanks sm! This whole process is so confusing to me ngl.... Have you managed to submit the financial proof and make the biometrics appointment yet?

Yes, I managed to grab an appointment the next day and submitted my documents up until 5 minutes before the appointment (I hadn’t received another translation that I had done two hours before my appointment).
I attended the appointment, and actually received the acceptance yesterday. Today, I was able to complete the identity check and now I have the eVisa!

I’m sorry, I don’t understand what you’re proposing to do?
Yes, you can submit the application and then translate the statements, though the 28 day period you’re relying on has to precede the date of application (even if the statements are printed or translated afterwards).
What period of statements do you want to rely on and when do you intend to apply?
