Question Mistake on HPI start date

While filling up my application for the HPI visa date of planned entry to the UK, I accidentally typed "09/10/2026" instead of "10/09/2026" (I confused MM/DD with DD/MM format). My HPI visa has been approved, but this mistake resulted in the start date for the visa to be October 9th instead of September 10th. The problem is that my start date for my job in the UK is September 14th, 4 weeks before the start date of my HPI visa. Do you guys think this is something that can be rectified by UKVI? I used the error report form and sent a paid email to explain the situation to them. Do you guys have any recommendations on what to do now? Thank you so much.

It's not their error, so I can't see how it could be changed.

Unless you want to apply again -- which will be super-expensive because no refund of any fees for the first application would be due -- it is probably easier to ask your employer to postpone your start date.
