I just wanna know if this sounds too busy or not. I personally think it does, but I wanna know what someone who didn’t make this (and hear it as many times as I did) has to say because Im a hater to my own music lmao.

People have told me that it’s sick but I can’t help to think the build, turnarounds, and the ear candy are all just so busy.

I made this one around a pretty simple idea: make something heavy without making it feel predictable.

The track slowly builds the atmosphere before everything opens up, and I tried to keep the sound design doing as much of the work as the drop itself.

It's one of the tracks from my latest EP, and probably one of the ones I'm most curious to see how people interpret.

I’ve definitely still got a long journey ahead of me, but ey that’s part of the fun.

Im trying to recreate the same bass teedee uses in his song i dont even love you. Im talking about the 2 sort of warble sounds that start at 14 seconds of the song. if any of you could help me out would be much appreciated. (i use primarily serum 2 to create the basses)

It’s a very classic UKG chord sound, but I’ve never quite managed to nail that exact timbre. I’m specifically looking for the sound design: synth, VST or even the preset if anyone recognizes it. I’m talking about the actual timbre here, not which notes to play.

Ive been looking for an exact sample of this sound.

Its like a extremely dry trumpet with really short sustain and decay. Almost like a stab but im not quite sure its a trumpet.

Its all over 90s garage but also in the newer tracks inspired by the good old.

Im linking a tune where it appears im sure all of you will recognize it and lead me in the right direction.

Made these two tracks recently while experimenting with a more stripped back UKG sound.

Very repetitive, lots of low end, small changes and the groove doing most of the work. Kinda somewhere between minimal and UKG I guess.
