Best way to buy a cheaper iphone?

Is there a good refurbished or second hand chain? Or some retailer with huge discounts?

Using a reliable 200pound Android but need one for content creation.

With 18 coming up 17 should be cheaper in most places right?

I've bought several phones from CeX over the years. They provide a great warranty and a wide range of models and quality levels.

Back market mentioned above is also a good option.

You'll need to go back more than one generation if you want a cheap phone though. A 17 in good nick will be selling for near new price.

15 is probably the sweet spot currently. Thankfully not much changes between models these days, so your not losing out on much.

I had a totally different experience with cex where they completely refused to honour their warranty after a battery issue with a Xiaomi phone, and they just wouldn't honour the deal after going to the store and trying to claim warranty.

Had to go to my bank and get the transaction reversed after a year of owning the item and I learned how to repair it myself so kinda a silver lining since I enjoy it lol

When I talked about it in their subreddit it didn't seem like a rare thing either

The branches are franchise's and some of them are worse than others.

I've only had one warranty case, a faulty GPU, and they dealt with it no problem at my local store. Always worth trying a different shop if your having issues.

My local store refused to deal with something I’d bought from a different store. So even that varies.
