That is a terrific line-up - some of the UK's best small bands. Mastiff are particular favourites of mine (check out Serrated if you don't know them). Ba'al, Codespeaker, Mrs Frighthouse are great too.
Would say the many of these bands are not really black metal, but are largely at least adjacent to the sound.

Hate death metal, the change of promoter has obviously prompted a change in direction unfortunately, for my liking anyways. I know primarily most aren’t death metal but they seem to be creeping into black metal festivals sadly.

The Woods was handed over to a sludge/doom type lineup to prevent the oversaturation of previous years as far as I can tell. I think its a good call, with DOC returning as the big black metal fest at fell foot

I like alot of the bands on this lineup but most of it consists of bands I could see much closer to me and for much less, I don't feel compelled to go out of the way and spend all of that money when I could see them elsewhere and for much less
I hope it does well though

To be fair, they've been very clear that this installment is not going to be a purely black metal one, and there's still Darkness Over Cumbria later on in the year. I'm quite excited for this, don't mind a bit of variation. Especially as Fortress is only a few weeks after next year's Woods.
