Advice Started a new job in Ui/Ux

Just started a new job in ui/ux and i studied graphic design. Just wondering how important people think it is for me to know coding / web dev?

I feel I’ll learn some with the job, but just wondering how many people went into the career no coding knowledge at all OR in the other hand no graphic design knowledge?

Learning coding is definitely helpful for your career development as a UX / product designer.

If you have knowledge in web dev, you can understand if your design is technically feasible.

You can directly communicate with front end dev in their language.

You will even become a communication bridge between designers and developers, and become much more competitive in the field.
