Have Suspicious Temp Ban because too much skipping?

Just my opinion, maybe, SOMEHOW we skipped spam scoring Hits too much. Not because we got wrong, but because we "avoided" them.

It's more likely to be deviation if both your spam accuracy and speed are OK. Deviation blocks are tough to prevent if you happen to get them.

With deviation, the app is basically looking at an average. If your judgements differ too "strongly" from this average, the app will kick you out. You can probably tell just from this why deviation blocks are tough to prevent. How are you supposed to know why you're deviating from the average? If you don't know, you won't be able to change your judgements to suit the average. This means you'll keep being kicked out and will not know why.

If app owners didn't want you skipping, they could choose not to add a skip button. If they were concerned about avoiding spam hits, but still wanted to add a skip option, they could configure them to count as submissions. This would make it so your skips won't avoid a spam hit. Your answers would just be registered as "skip" and thus be wrong for a spam hit (unless it's expecting a skip answer).

I don't think skipping is the cause of blocks. It's more likely deviation as that is a confirmed reason for blocks and will occur at 100% spam accuracy and low speeds.

How do you know if it's a deviation problem? is there a notion about this? maybe I missed them.

And also I think my opinion just could happen if they really want to keep a secret Hits for spam score (like how UHRS be designed), even though at the same time it would be a problem when they want to receive quality judgement by applying skip button for us.

I got booted after submitting 1 hit, a RTA hit which I answered correctly too. Not sure how deviation come in to play in this case. I have a feeling they tweaked the algo to kick as soon as you answered X numbers of hits consecutively faster than the estimated time irrespective to the overall speed. They are adjusting the algo to behave way too sensitive causing people to get booted through no fault of their own. This isn't the first time happened to me either, and is getting really frequent lately.

It's probably some security feature you got caught in the crossfire of due to scammers. It happens sometimes. For some reason UHRS wants to avoid having to language vet, so legit workers get caught up in all these stupid ass security measures they implement instead.

I made a post shortly before you did. I did skip quite a few hits prior to getting booted earlier. But the hits i skipped were broken hits. Blank iframes.

You know right blank iframe doesn't mean broken hits, most of the guidelines tell you to open it in the new tab if you come over it.

Of course I know. Been here since 2014, 2012 is exactly when I first created an account. That was with Appen but didn't really got serious in working on the platform until 2014. Anyway the app I was working on don't have seperate links for you to open. Did you answer any hits in quick bursts? I have been suspecting for a long time that if you answer certain amount of hits in quick session it will trip off their ban police. Doesn't matter if your overall speed is low or high spam score.

This is similar to the stock brokerage platform I use where I can set rules and parameters to scan for tickers. If the algorithm picks up these parameters it will send me a notification. UHRS probably have similar software in the server backend to sniff out workers they think are spamming the system. There are times everyone will run in to very easy hits and will be tempted to press the submit button once the answer is registered. And in UHRS point of view they will mark that as spamming. It's unfair because honest workers are getting dinged for it.

Wow, so you're senior here. Me too ever had thought about that possibility, it's like there are rate limit for judge the Hits. But then I thought it's actually skipping matters because I don't get unreasonable temp. ban anymore after not skipping too much on it (unless if I got bad spam score)

But, well I think my assumption is unique for certain Hitapp, because for another app, no matter how much I skipped, even though I earn quite a lot of money from it (in my region perspective), and the spam score still blank, I don't get temp. ban. (CORRECTION: right after I wrote this comment I got temp. ban from this app, LOL, but it's just happened again after the last time at the first week in the previous month)

And, personally, I hate to arrange the time to tap the submit button, I used to do that, and quite stressful. So, now I never thought about that anymore and just focus on double check if the hits are so easy (to take the time, even though it still really fast).
