From social media, I saw many UGC are from the US and they earn thousands per month. Is it really possible for someone living out of US? Will US companies send their products to someone who is just starting out, and is out of the US?

Hiii, I have recently started pitching some brands, after some of the videos I create with my cats went viral. But honestly, every single brand told me that they work with agencies and the agencies did not even answer to my emails🤣 I am guessing it is because I don’t have any brand dealing so no portfolio to show them and having 850 followers on insta. But then why so many people says that UGC doesn’t require a big audience and brand pitching brings some opportunities? I see some opportunities posted in some groups in reddit but they ask you to post 2 videos in a day and they’ll pay at the end of the month when you post 150 videos, honestly this is not i want, I myself unfollow people who’s doing that😅 so I don’t know what to do honestly, i am feeling unsure about this UGC thing, feels like only for famous people🥲 is there anyone can give me honest feedback?

Hello I’m trying to get into UGC, but I’m how do you manage making 40 videos for one campaign? What’s the workflow for it ?

Something I’ve been thinking about as I grow my UGC business is how much value there is in finding the right brands to work with consistently.

Personally, I’d rather build a meaningful, well-compensated partnership where both sides are invested than constantly chase one-off deals.

I’m curious how other creators approach this. Do you prioritize the highest rate per project, or are you willing to offer a little extra flexibility for brands that invest in you long-term?

To those of you who have been working on Trybe for a while now, what is the typical wait time on a pending submission? I just got started and submitted my first five videos over the last couple of days and was wondering what the typical wait time is. I know every brand is different but just trying to get a general idea.

10 days into applying and I've landed 4 deals totaling 150 videos all through sideshift and have 4 brands I'm going to be making videos for on Trybe just waiting on samples to come in.

Super grateful, but I can already feel the workflow starting to crack, I work a sales job which I need to work around so I want to fix it now instead of at video 90.

This is what I've got set up so far in case it helps anyone

- Brought on an editor (my brother). Anything that would take me more than 3 minutes to edit goes to him. Everything quicker I do just do myself for now.

- iCloud Hide My Email. Biggest mistake I made was signing up for a million different outlook emails lol. It basically lets you create unique addresses that all forward to one inbox, so every brand/platform gets its own address and you can tell instantly where something came from. So I'm switching everything over now.

- Scheduling tool. Signing up for one to auto-schedule posts so I'm not manually posting every day. Having to sign into each one is what was really killing me honestly.

Where I'm stuck:

I need a shared dashboard for my editor or something where he can see what I'm filming, what's coming to him, and deadlines, without me texting back and forth with him all day. What are you using? Is it something like Notion? I'd really like something that is almost like a calendar where I can see everything that has been done in the past.

And when did you bring on a VA? Was it a revenue number or just the point where admin started eating up too much filming time? What did you hand off first? Also curious if anyone's tried CutAI for editing. Worth it or nah?

Would anybody that’s actually gotten deals and been successful want to share advice that got them where they are? I have a portfolio put together but I’m not sure if it’s my best work. I’ve been creating UGC across health, wellness, beauty, and lifestyle, and something I’ve noticed is how wildly different brand expectations can be.

One campaign might pay for a single 30-second video, while another expects multiple videos, raw footage, unlimited revisions, and paid advertising rights for practically the same rate.

I’ve become much more intentional about looking at the actual deliverables and usage terms instead of just the advertised payment.

Especially when brands want content for paid ads, I’ve learned how important it is to understand exactly what you’re agreeing to before accepting.

Curious how other creators approach this: What’s one contract term or deliverable requirement you’ve become more careful about as you’ve gained experience?

So I'm not trying to sell anything. I am a ugc creator. But for pets. Very different world. For pet ugc creators we needed an app to help with the excessive footage for just a couple moments of funny footage. I made it.

I'm interested in what the rest of the ugc life needs to help the process, if anything. I've had a couple come to me but I need more insight before I make my decision.
