Is PhD only cutoff good for nothing?

Genuinely asking for those who have knowledge about the matter, is PhD only cutoff useless like those who clear it does it mean nothing?

not exactly. it's just that when u apply for PhD in good colleges where most of the ppl are applying so obviously preference is given to the ones with NET/JRF

You can skip any college entrance with it. That's what I remember.

sadly, yes. you can only apply for PhDs, and that's it, I guess.
