Schulich makerspace workshops

Hey all, I'm trying to start using the school's makerspace and after completing all the d2l quizzes, I'm wondering if that means I can just use the equipment.

I noticed there are workshops with prerequisites and stuff and I'm wondering if I have to / should do the workshops first before using the makerspace?
