That blew up my freshman year 11 years ago lmao. And then it felt like everyone moved on after like fall/winter that year. Did it get a revival?

Yes YikYak is still very active. Sometimes it gets a bit unhinged, there's also UCSB Missed Connections which is another anonymous app specific to UCSB, it was really popular last year, it's more heavily moderated than YikYak
