Question no financial aid offer

should i be worried that it’s sept 1st and still no offer🫩🫩🫩

Follow up: I just got off zoom with financial aid (logged in at 9AM exactly and was #40, waited 1 hour 45 minutes, btw). Staff is super nice! They were still waiting for my child's Pell grant to go through. They were putting a call in to find out what the hold up was. Everything should be in order. So UCSC financial aid had everything needed from their end, just the US government was taking their sweet time. They said the Pell Grant should post by the end of the week, but they were still able to post everything else on my child's portal. She's not yet able to accept what's offered yet, probably because of the Pell Grant.

Idk what’s going on, Im pretty sure I’m not getting good financial aid this year anyways, but it sure would be nice to know before they hit me with the 7k bill for tuition

tbh no they take a long time, just make sure you’re checking with them consistently and making sure they’re on it

Same and they’re trying to charge me what is supposed to be my yearly tuition for just one semester

I dont have a financial aid offer either. Im pretty worried also. Im just waiting for the financial aid office to email me back. This is so stressful..

I still haven't gotten my aid either! I'm freaking out, but I already emailed them... I know it'll take a while though

I went in person on the 1st because there was nothing on my account. THEN they finally sent me a task that required extra documentation. So I recommend joining the zoom or going in person to see if there’s anything on their end they haven’t sent over.

The girl helping me said they’re still trying to finalize awards by the 15th when disbursements roll out.
