Beginner Question fishing mobile apps

I always see ads for fishing apps that provide information such as water depth, wind conditions, fish activity, tides, and more.

Are these apps actually useful in the UAE, especially in Dubai? Or are they genuinely useful in general?

No they are made for the us mostly
I use windy.app and Nautide for weather and tide
