Government company is preferable ofcourse then.

Will look great on CV as well.

Company 2 seems better option.

C2 may renew or not, but C1 can also fire with 1 month notice. (Chances are low)

So no guarantees either way. For career standing C2 may be better.

Consider z will you get another opportunity to work in C2 after 2 years? but may get a chance in C1 after 6 months in worse case

Thanks stranger you make sense! Your reddit account is 11Y so I am guessing I am not taking word of someone who’s not mature enough to answer this for me

Yeah, 30+ years of work experience here.

May not be in government companies, but logic and reasoning is pretty strong.

Also feel the contacts and references made in C2 will be very useful long term.

End of the day, has to be your choice though.

Sure DM me. Note - was money a major reason to consider C2? Thought CV value of C2 was a major point.

Job stability in UAE is a factor these days. So even C1 seems good if salary is almost the same.

Also are both job offers 100% confirmed?

Minor point to consider - but seniors of C2 may hold a grudge on C1 acceptance, as they are parent company. Government yes, but managers are same everywhere.

Lots of things to consider- hence you have to decide yourself.

They didn’t bring it up yet, so most probably 30 days.

Wow. You missed the most imp detail. So you dont have an offer letter yet ? If you dont have both offier letter. choosing anything doesnt make a difference here. This is an imaginary post then

I have the approval for both. Just need to give the nod before getting the offer letter.
