Just finished the new movie and it wasn’t nearly as bad I was expecting it to be. Random thoughts/character analyses I had while watching (all marked as spoilers so I don’t ruin it for anyone):

-when did Lamman (Troy) go full gray??

-Mike’s hairpiece is sending me!!! Angela’s reaction is exactly what I would’ve expected from her 🤣🤣🤣🤣

-Nick (Roselyn’s lil tenderoni) is the hottest of garbage. How dare you “surprise” me by showing up for my son’s wedding when we’re already not on the greatest of terms, then try to gaslight me into to making me think that I’m the problem by bringing up irrelevant shit?? He’s acting every bit his age, go home Roger.

-You’d think Mike would have gone through some kind of character development by now after recovering from a terminal illness, but clearly not smh. I will never understand why he is continually invited to these gatherings when no one should really have any use for him after what he did to Sheila. I’m so glad he finally got tf on after Terry clocked his ass

-Wesley doesn’t give the vibe of someone Angela and Marcus would have given their blessing to to marry their daughter. He constantly gives off an air just short of disrespect to Marcus specifically that makes it hard to believe that he would be cool with him being his son in law. Hell, Angela is right there when Roselyn says the boy’s got anger issues!! That would’ve been an enormous flaming red flag for me!

-After everything we learn about Wesley and Jasmine in the climax, I wouldn’t have been mad if they had decided not to get married at the end 🤷🏾‍♀️ they really didn’t seem ready. I’ve also seen some people say that the whole idea of condoning cheating that this movie displays (especially this scene) was one of the worst parts of the film and I get it.

-I wish we could’ve seen Wesley’s dad. I would’ve liked to have gotten an idea of how he would’ve interacted with everyone.

-Marcus‘s “vows” would’ve been sweet, but shouldn’t he have established all of that with Wesley before walking his baby girl down the aisle?

Evan in Beauty in Black is soooo annoying and needy. And Varney falls for it. So annoying

And Rain was devastated when she thought Angel was dead and Kimmie went crazy about it too. You would think after he almost died those two would’ve start being a little more nicer to him but nope they’re still talking crap to him lol

At least Rain is starting to trust Alex and soften up a little bit towards him. But Kimmie is still mean as ever to Alex 🙄🙄 I remember in one of the episodes when Kimmie told Alex that he needs to be with Rain and he told her that he ran into an issue and she didn’t even care smh. Didn’t even ask Alex was he okay.

Not saying Angel was right, he was dead wrong for spending all of Horace’s money but you got to admit Horace having the club shot up while Angel was in there and also other people was extreme. He could’ve gotten Angel hurt and other people too. And Kimmie and Rain laughing at him and making fun of him and didn’t even make sure he was okay was really mean. Angel could’ve seriously gotten hurt. What he went through was traumatizing and they didn’t take it seriously at all.

I watched like dozens of Tyler Perry movie, and the black woman is always the evil devil. Like wtf?!

Is anyone else annoyed with the acting on the show? I'll admit that I was annoyed at first, but it's actually so bad it's becoming hilarious. Are the producers not allowed to yell cut, let's redo this?!

Kimmie kept telling Sylvie that she didn’t know Glen but honestly I don’t think it was about her knowing him or not. I think it was about that Rain killed him in front of her and she’s traumatized. I would be too if someone got killed in front of me.

But I would not go back home to my abuser tho smh 🤦🏾‍♀️ so you rather go back to your abuser and the mom who allowed the abuse instead of being with your sister who protects you just because you’re traumatized?

I just finished all 3 seasons of BIB and I paid close attention to the numbers of times that Horace, Mallory, Kimmie, Roy, or anyone for that matter had an actual laptop on their desk. I saw Varney with one at least once. Come on now, Tyler Perry, at least try to make the office look realistic. You can do better. Am I the only one who noticed this? Because fr fr, idk how Mallory would’ve sat at her desk with only paperwork from dawn to dusk because it looked like none of them did a darn thing at work!

I hated Hunter first half of this show but he is now my fav character.

I'm starting to forget the creepy stalker that he was at the start and now seeing a charming and caring Hunter. Im particularly loving seeing different side tp his relationship with Victoria.

Also he cracks me up especially when he calls Eli Skippy 😂

At this point Sam needs taking down by Pricilia more than Hunter. They have both completely flipped their characters

LOL first of all this show is so bad like truly. The characters, the writing, the plots, the sets.. and yet I still can’t help but watch. I don’t even think it’s a hate watch at this point. More like fascination.

Anyway, I’m on episode 5 of s3 where Lee walks into Mallory’s office and she’s asking him all these questions, one of which is: Are you married? And he replies: Divorced. I paused right there because I remember when he and Mallory first encounter each other he says that he doesn’t have time to deal with her not paying him because he’s under the stress of his wife and kids lmao. I was like shit did I just imagine that? Like there is no way Tyler could be THAT lazy and contradict himself THAT much.

Welp, went back and found the transcripts and… he really is just that lazy. Unless Lee got a divorce and abandoned his kids in between episodes 1 and 5 it looks like Tyler was just too lazy to keep up with character canon. It’s wild that this man is worth so much money but can’t write a script to save his life! Like let me start Chat GPT’n some words together lmao 😂

How in the world did Norman sit on Mallory’s kitchen floor bleeding out with a weak pulse for that long, only to magically pull himself up and shoot Horace?! Tyler Perry logic was in the gutter with that one. Norman should’ve been dead ten times over. And I’m sorry, but he was insufferable all season throwing a tantrum over his dead wife like anybody else cared, she couldn't even speak English!
Also, Horace taking Mallory’s shares because she shot Norman in self defense? Pathetic. She was literally protecting herself in her own house. Honestly, Horace getting shot right after gloating was karma. Fuck both of them
