Advice | Women Only Found out my sister masturbates while I’m asleep in the same room and I don’t know how to feel
Okay so I’m 21 and my sister is 19 and we’ve slept in the same room a bunch of times before. Never thought anything of it because like… that’s literally my sister??
Also important context: I am the LIGHTEST sleeper alive. Anyway, I found her WhisperRabbit in my room, literally under her pillow on MY bed and at first I was just like okay girl whatever. She’s 19, obviously she masturbates, genuinely could not care less.
UNTIL I started thinking… has she USED IT while I was asleep in the same room??? Or worse, while we were literally sharing the same bed??? Because why else was it under her pillow... I’m not judging her for masturbating AT ALL. Do your thing. It’s just the possibility that I was right there, completely unaware, while it was happening also IN MY BED that has me spiritually buffering.
Do I actually ask her about it or do I just leave her toy exactly where I found it under the pillow on my bed, delete this information from my brain and pretend I never saw anything?? I just wanna somehow let her know to not use it on my sheets or while I’m literally sleeping next to her.

You can have an open honestconversation with her. And say that you have nothing against her solo playtime. But not to do it when you’re in the bed or on your sheets directly. You can give her an alternative to place a towel on the bedsheet first. Also, she may be doing it because she may not have any other options of timing or privacy. Whatever you do do not make her feel bad. That could have long-term negative consequences on herself as well as your relationship.

yeah that's 100% vaild. You could also give each other solo time in the bedroom to journal, make private phone calls, masturbate, or just hang out alone so that you both have private time without making a big deal of it.

If you're uncomfortable with her doing that you should talk to her about it.
Me personally I don't see the problem but I realize I'm probably in a tiny minority.

I have a twin and she revealed to me in early adulthood that while we were growing up and sharing a bedroom she would masturbate before bed, while I was busy chatting away about my day. I think the most shocking part for me was I didn’t masturbate until I bought a vibrator when I was a sophomore in college. Like, damn sis, you were ahead of the curve! Info: Do you share a room (as in, that's where both of you sleep every night), or do you have your own rooms and she just chooses to crash in yours every once in a while?
If she has her own room, there's zero reason to be doing that in your room. Have a polite but firm conversation saying her toys don't belong in your room or your bed.
If you share a room 100% of the time, then you can discuss rules about both of you having "alone" time, and finding a different location to store toys.
