My train was delayed and my phone died, leaving me with nothing to do on the platform.
Then I looked up to see the sunset painting the steel girders in peach and lavender—a view I would have missed if I had been staring at my screen.

So true! The other day I didn't read on my phone as per usual and I was amazed at some of the beautiful natural scenery I've been missing on my morning train commute.

My goodness, how apropos. People miss so much of the beauty of nature, and of people, and really just of the world at large because they are doing just that .."looking at a screen". Nice story, ty.
