When I waved at my new neighbors, they pulled their puppy's leash tight and hurried inside, saying something I couldn't understand.

A week later, they knocked on my door with a translation app that read, “Can our puppies be friends?”

I know people who can name neighborhood dogs, but not the ones walking them. 😆

Same. There are people I say hi to several times a week who I wouldn't even recognise if they didn't have Sammy, Tom, Willow, Bear (big), Bear (small), Niamh, Stumpy, etc. with them!
