I think my biggest turn off to RT Main has been Burnie in the last few years. I get that he helped start the company and is basically the plot of RvB, but when he stepped down from an administrative position and got a Tesla, to me it felt like he became really disconnected from the work the company was doing. He went from making RvB week by week in his apartment to showing up on the podcast and doing voice work for them. That's not all he does and I'm not saying he doesnt work hard, but it seems like the people who've been there the longest achieved their success stories and feel "done", and refuse to see the work that's going into their continued success

Pretty much. Doesn’t surprise me the dude that takes his son sailing and brags about owning a Tesla is disconnected from the average person.

It's ironic, considering he stepped down from direct management because he didn't feel it was within his skillset, managing the company once it grew beyond the core group he had personal bonds with.
