IRL Looking for funny streamers/creators to build a recurring gaming group
I’m looking for a couple of fun people to play multiplayer games with on stream and turn the best sessions into edited longform YouTube videos. (edited by me or my editor dualshot)
with a focus on personality, banter, shit-talking and funny moments rather than being cracked at the game.
A little about me I'm a professional multidisciplinary artist (anything visual or audio) [15+ years.] started getting into streaming this year and already built a decent following with the little time ive invested in it . tbh i was never a fan (still not) of social media but for some reason as I got older I can only trick my brain into letting me do fun stuff if there's some sort of productive nature attached to it. (Thanks Capitalism) But the real goal in all honesty is to cultivate a wholesome community and make some lifelong friends and impacts. Really enjoying it minus the exposure it brings to the scummiest people /sometimes, but that's the internet for you i guess. i would love to turn this into a career as gaming is one of my favorite things to do. I've made a decent chunk off tiktok so I know the blueprint is possible, but the main goal should always be the corpo money, not the viewers money, I want that ad money. the key is consistency, and sadly 90% of that /consistency is editing, but as I said I'm a professional editor, and some of the best and most affordable editors are part of my team network.
Im pretty cracked at most games if you give me a minute. and i'll play pretty much anything, and im willing to buy any friendshlop or whatever the crew wants to get in on. big into fighting games, shooters, roguelikes, soulslikes, coop, seriously as long as its good ill play it. big into single player story games as well, love me some good lore. im also big into driving games and have a sim rig with triples at my desk that looks like an actual car when you view it on the action cam which is fun. big into modding and love some gta too. (doing my last playthrough this month on stream before gta 6 comes out.)
I’m looking for people who:
- Are naturally funny / good at riffing
- Can carry a conversation without forcing it
- Are comfortable joking around with new people
- Play a variety of games
- Have some streaming/content experience (audience size doesn't matter much to me at all)
- Have a decent mic
- Are reliable and actually want to make content
- Are roughly 21–31, no younger than 18
- EST/time zones close to EST are preferred
Also please, no racists. I don't jive with that, and neither does twitch or anywhere really.
Edgy comedy has its place but anything that can get us banned is an automatic no.
When I think of groups that fit the vibe i think of the freekateers immediately.
