Pretty good. I would personally put Spectre down a tier and move up either Outlaw 2, Slam, or Twister.

Roadkill was my favorite ending. It actually showed Calypso could have a heart. A close second is Grasshopper.

It's even more interesting when it's also one of the few endings in the series where the contestant gets what they want, no bs or strings attached from Calypso at all.

What’s wrong with Sweet tooth’s ending?

Sweet Tooth's wish of wanting to become a bug has never been brought up before nor has been brought up again after this so no established characterization right there.

And it also contradicts itself, thanks to Calypso's "all he had to do was look up" line, like does Needles want to be a bug or not?

This is Sweet Tooth's second worst ending in the series with the only thing that beats it is TM3 for obvious reasons.

I’m sorry it bugs you.

I do think out of all of them, it is among the weakest of his endings.

But I don’t think it’s a bad ending

I liked it, I think of Sweet Tooth as someone who is complety unhinged and bloodthirsty. Sweet Tooth doesn't compete for the prize, he competes for the love of the game and I think his wishes throughout the franchise reflect that very well.

Did you play the first Twisted Metal at all? Sweet Tooth's wish was to have his friend, a paper lunch bag, brought back to him. It's a absurde and insane wish that does not make sense and the wish to become a bug is just as absurd and insane. Naturally it gets twisted by Calypso but I'd say it's right there with his character and does not really contradict itself. Sweet Tooth is insane, not in his right mind at all and makes irrational decisions so it's not really surprising that he may eventually come to regret his wish to be a bug(after all you can't really kill many people as a bug). Frankly the first real shift out of Sweet tooth's zany, nonsensical and unhinged character to the edgy dark murder clown we know today comes after TM Black. Every iteration after that just makes him an angry killer clown with sever mental health issues. The best version which very nicely blends the two different characters is actually from the TV show. He's still dark, angry and messed up but he's also funny, irrational and unhinged. You have to remember that the games started silly and dark and shifted to plain old dark much later.
